Abstract

Az 1960-as években a jugoszláv államvezetés olyan gazdasági átalakítást vezetett be az országban, melyet az egyetemes szocializmus történetének legradikálisabb reformjaként értelmez a történelem- és gazdaságtudomány. A reform egyik jelentős lépése a más országokkal kötött gazdasági egyezmények voltak, melynek értelmében Jugoszlávia megnyitotta határait, hogy munkaerőt exportáljon a nyugati országokba, leginkább Ausztriába és Németországba. Ez a gazdasági döntés nagy erejű változásokat indított el a társadalomban,megjelent egy új réteg Európa területein: a milliós nagyságrendű, jugoszláv vendégmunkások tömege.A reformok elsődlegesen gazdasági jelenségként fogalmazhatók meg, ugyanakkor szükséges figyelembe venni a folyamat tágabb társadalmi-, politikai-, kultúrtörténeti dimenzióját is, amely nemcsak Jugoszláviát, de a befogadó országokat is jelentősen érintette. A jugoszlávgazdasági reformokkal, valamint a vendégmunkásokkal foglalkozó tudományos értekezések zöme a gazdaság-,szociológia-, vagy történettudomány felől közelít,a jelenség irodalomtudományi értelmezése, a gazdaságtani narratívákat vagy a gastarbeitereket bemutatószépirodalmi alkotások analízise, az ökonómiai jelenségeket tematizáló textusok, illetve a vendégmunkást megszólaltató szöveghangok líra-, valamint prózanyelvének föltáró vizsgálata az irodalomtudósok felől rendkívül kevés figyelmet kapott. Tanulmányom célja a gazdasági reformok vajdasági magyar irodalmára és irodalmi nyelvére gyakorolt hatásainak mélyebb,kontextusérzékeny megértése, továbbá vállalkozom a vizsgált időszakban megjelent szépirodalmi szövegek új megközelítésű, gazdasági olvasatára és értelmezésére. | In the 1960s, the Yugoslav state leadership implemented an economic transformation widely regarded by historians and economists as the most radical reform in global socialism. One of the pivotal measures of this reform was the signing of international economic agreements, which enabled Yugoslavia to open its borders to export labor primarily to Western countries, most notably to Austria and Germany. This economic decision triggered profound social change, creating a new social stratum across Europe: the mass of Yugoslav guest workers, numbering in the millions. Although these reforms are primarily framed as economic phenomena, it is essential to consider their broader socio-political and cultural-historical dimensions, which significantly affected not only Yugoslavia but also the receiving countries. While existing scholarly work on the Yugoslav economic reforms and the figure of the guest worker predominantly stems from economic, sociological, or historical disciplines, their literary representation remains underexplored. The analysis of narratives informed by economic discourse, literary portrayals of gastarbeiters, texts that thematize economic transformations, and the poetic and prosaic voices that give expression to the guest worker experience have received scant attention within literary studies. My analysis seeks to offer a context-sensitive understanding of the impact these economic reforms exerted on Hungarian literature in Vojvodina, particularly about its literary language. Drawing on literary texts published during this period, I propose a novel interpretive approach that foregrounds economic readings and reconsiders their significance within the broader framework of Yugoslav socialism.
