Abstract
The question of "honesty" in contemporary architecture often centres on structural choices, especially in brickwork with its deep historical roots. Since definitions of brick architecture and structural honesty have shifted over time, this article examines these evolving concepts through structural analysis, focusing on modern practices and current design standards.
