Abstract

A Magyar Tudományos Akadémia megalakulása, azaz 1825 óta folyamatosan a magyar tudomány kiemelkedő szervezete. Az már az Akadémia megalakulásakor felvetődött, hogy a tudományok művelése során a hadi tudományokkal is számolni kell, de sokáig ez a diszciplína szervezetszerűleg nem lehetett jelen az Akadémián. A kiegyezést követően azonban – bár néha csak részeiben, egyes területekkel –, mégis megjelent a hadtudomány. A második világháborút követően ismét hányattatott sorsra jutott e tudományág. Csak a rendszerváltás után, 1994-ben vált ismét lehetővé, hogy a hadtudomány újra saját szervezettel legyen jelen a tudományos élet legmagasabb szintjén. Az Akadémia IX. osztályának Hadtudományi Bizottsága a 30 éve történt újjá alapítása óta aktívan részt vesz a tudomány művelésében és a különböző tudományterületek hadtudománnyal kapcsolatos szinergiáinak megteremtésében. Jelen írás a Hadtudományi Bizottság 1994-es újjáalakítása óta eltel három évtized rövid bemutatására törekszik. = Since its foundation in 1825, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences has been the prominentorganisation of Hungarian science. Already at the time of its foundation, it was suggestedthat military sciences should be included in the Academy’s scientific activities, but for a longtime this discipline was not allowed to be present in the Academy in terms of an organisation.After the Great Compromise, however, some parts of the discipline, some areas of militaryscience, did gain ground. After the Second World War, the discipline was again in a bad way.Only in 1994, after the regime change, did military science regain its place with its ownorganisation at the highest level of scientific life. Since its re-establishment 30 years ago,the Committee on Military Science of the Academy’s Section IX has been actively involvedin the cultivation of science and in creating synergies between the various disciplines in thefield of military science. This paper aims to give a very brief account of the three decades sincethe re-establishment of the Military Science Committee in 1994.
