Abstract

At the initial stage of my research, my primary objective was to familiarize myself with the relevant academic literature, define the research aim, and outline the hypotheses. I developed a preliminary plan that provided the conceptual background for the study and ensured a structured framework for the research process. Issues such as data security, artificial intelligence, the acceleration of digital services, and the rapid evolution of technological tools already impose substantial demands on enterprises. Currently, considerable disparities can still be observed among sectors in the application of digital tools and services. The next step involves testing the prepared questionnaire through in-depth interviews. Based on their feedback, I will refine and finalize the questionnaire, after which I aim to reach as many respondents as possible with the support of professional organizations, in order to obtain a dataset that is, to the greatest extent possible, representative. This will allow the findings to be interpreted and applied at a broader societal level. Given the present economic challenges, I believe that swift and radical actions are urgently needed to prevent the widening of this digital gap—both in relation to the European Union and to other technologically advanced countries worldwide.
