Abstract
The study presents a Late Iron Age linchpin found with a metal detector in Găieşti. From technological and typological point of view, the object belongs to the group of bimetallic linchpins with decorated head, which were widespread in large areas of Europe, and which are mainly associated with the military aristocracy, as well as with visual representations of their religious beliefs. However, according to its artistic characteristics, the object from Găieşti can be considered a representative artefact of the eastern European La Tène culture.
