Abstract

Pécs és Baranya vármegye szerb megszállása (1918–1921) történetének több olyan aspektusa és forrása is van, ami még nem került szisztematikus feldolgozásra. Ezek közé tartozik Visy László városi főispán naplójának az 1918 és 1921 közötti időszakra vonatkozó kötete is, amit éppen ezért választottam tanulmányom alapjául. Próbálok átfogó képet adni a napló szerzőjéről, a köztörténeti kontextusról, a megszállás közvetlen előzményeiről, illetve a kutatásom fő módszertani kérdéseiről. A tanulmány gerince, az eseménytörténetnek és fő fordulópontjainak bemutatása a naplóíró szemüvegén keresztül. = The history of the occupation of Pécs and Baranya county by the Serbian troops (1918–1921) has several aspects and references that has not yet been systematically processed. The volume covering the period between 1918 and 1921 of the diary written by László Visy, lord lieutenant of the City of Pécs, is among them. This paper provides an encompassing portrait of the author and a comprehensive description of the historical background, presenting the immediate antecedents of the occupation and addressing major methodological issues as well. My goal was to recall the series of events with the relevant turning points as they were seen by the author.
