Abstract
n pursuit of this interest and broadening its methodological complexity, this present issue of Martor proposes a group of studies on the theme of bodies in motion, hence the focus here on dance. This subject brings, in addition to theoretical challenges that arise in scholarly discussion and analysis of the moving body, a discipline-specific prerequisite (a feature shared with ethnomusicological research) that adds an extra level of theoretical and analytical construction, notably that of movement notation.
