Abstract

A gall-inducing eriophyid mite, Aceria pterocaryae associated with Pterocarya × rehderiana and Pterocarya stenoptera (both Juglandaceae) is recorded for the first time from Hungary. The female of A . pterocaryae is supplementarily described, while the male is described for the first time.
