Abstract
In Serbia, following the tragedy of November 1, 2024, commemorations were soon followed by protests, then student blockades, further mass demonstrations, and counter-rallies organized by the authorities. By mid-August, violent clashes had already erupted. This study traces the course of these events as they unfolded, presenting the culture of resistance in Serbia, the media landscape, the aims of the protests, the symbols employed, the political and media narratives, and the main actors involved.
