Abstract

Jelen kézirat az ápolói gyakorlat és tudásanyag fejlődéstörténetét tekinti át az ókortól a modern, intézményesült képzés kialakulásáig. A szerzők bemutatják az ápolás „evolúcióját”, amelynek során a tevékenység a kezdeti, tapasztalati úton átadott családi önellátástól a keresztény rendi ápoláson keresztüleljutott a tudatosan felépített világi hivatásig. A közlemény külön figyelmet szentel a magyarországivonatkozásoknak, bemutatva, miként váltotta fel a hagyományalapú „betanítást” a szakszerű, elméletialapokon nyugvó ápolóképzés. | The present manuscript reviews the evolutionary history of nursing practice and knowledge from antiquity to the emergence of modern, institutionalized education. The authors present the ‚evolution’ of nursing, a process through which the activity progressed from initial, experiencebased family self-care through Christian religious orders to a consciously structured secular profession. The publication devotes special attention to the Hungarian context, demonstrating how tradition-based ‚on-the-job training’ was replaced by professional nursing education rooted in theoretical foundations.
