Abstract
The effects of technological progress are increasingly evident in the world of industrial manufacturing companies. These changes affect the com-petitiveness and day-to-day operations of companies, even if the spread of fundamental changes throughout the supply chain is sometimes challenged by safety and other administrative regulations. The question arises: does this technological change affect the tasks of managers in these companies? Therefore, this study examined the extent to which the degree of automation of other actors involved in a given task plays a role in basic managerial tasks and whether this affects the work of managers in performing their managerial responsibilities.
