Abstract

A nemzetbiztonság területén a poligráfos vizsgálatok jelentős szerepet játszanak a biztonsági fenyegetések azonosításában és kezelésében, ezért időszerű és releváns a modern technológiai fejlődések, a biztonsági kihívások, a jogszabályi változások és a tudományos kutatások terén vizsgálni az eszközök hatékonyságát és alkalmazhatóságát. A további fejlődés érdekében fontosnak tartom a jelenlegi poligráfos vizsgálati protokoll ismertetését, hogy a felhasználók tudatosabban alkalmazzák. A cikk célja, hogy áttekintő képet adjon a poligráfos vizsgálat komplexitásáról és tudományos hátteréről. Az első részben áttekintem a poligráf rövid történetét. Ezt követően részletesen tárgyalom a poligráfos vizsgálat eljárásrendjét annak érdekében, hogy a vizsgálat iránt érdeklődők pontosabb képet kapjanak annak lefolyásáról és módszertanáról. Végezetül pedig az eddig megszerzett gyakorlati tapasztalatok ismertetésével bemutatom a korlátait, illetve a poligráfos vizsgálatból levonható eredmények alapján megfogalmazott következtetések relevanciáját. A cikk végén megvizsgálom a lehetséges jövőbeli kihívásokat. | In the field of national security, polygraph examinations play a significant role in identifying and managing security threats, therefore it is timely and relevant to examine the effectiveness and applicability of the tools in the field of modern technological developments, security challenges, legislative changes and scientific research. In the interest of further development, I consider it important to describe the current polygraph examination protocol so that users can use it more consciously. The aim of the article is to provide an overview of the complexity and scientific background of the polygraph examination. In the first part, I review the brief history of the polygraph. After that, I discuss the procedure of the polygraph examination in detail in order for those interested in the examination to get a more accurate picture of its course and methodology. Finally, by describing the practical experience gained so far, I present its limitations and the relevance of the conclusions drawn based on the results of the polygraph examination. At the end of the article, I examine possible future challenges.
