Abstract
The paper aimed to design the control system for a home-based kombucha tea fermentation device and to develop a test system. This included learning about the fermentation process, establishing the software and hardware requirements for the device in order to produce a user-friendly, safe automatic tea fermentation system that allows for remote monitoring of measured and controlled values, and aims to minimize manual intervention so that the prepared beverage remains of nearly constant quality.
