Abstract

2025-ben lesz 30 éves a büntetés-végrehajtási szervezetről szóló 1995. évi CVII. törvény, amelynek IV. fejezete a kényszerítő eszközök alkalmazásának közös szabályait, valamint az egyes kényszerítő eszközök felsorolását foglalja magában. Jelen publikáció célja, hogy e jubileum alkalmából az egyik legjelentősebb kényszerítő eszközt, a bilincset közelebbről is megismertesse az olvasóval. A tanulmány részletesen bemutatja a bilincs történetét, a jelenleg alkalmazott típusait, valamint a jövőbeli fejlesztési irányokat. I In 2025, Act CVII of 1995 on the Prison Service marks its 30th anniversary. Chap-ter IV of the Act contains the general rules governing the use of coercive measures, as well as a list of the individual coercive measures. The aim of this publication is to introduce the reader to one of the most sig-nificant coercive measures – handcuffs – on the occasion of this anniversary.The study presents in detail the history of handcuffs, the types currently in use, and future directions for development.
