Abstract

Laskai Osvát ferences szerzetes összesen négy beszédgyűjteményt állított össze. A kompiláció során magyarországi forrásokat, például hagiográfiai és historiográfiai műveket is felhasznált. A jelen tanulmány arra a kérdésre kísérel meg választ adni, hogy a szerző ismerte-e azt a közelmúltban felfedezett, Mátyás király (1458–1490) korában megszerkesztett rövid krónikát, amely a XVI. század végén összeállított, Esterházy-kódexnek nevezett törvénygyűjteményben maradt fenn. A krónika ismeretére utaló adatok a nyomtatásban először 1497-ben megjelent Sermones de sanctis-kötet három beszédében találhatók. | Franciscan friar. Osvát Laskai compiled a total of four collections of sermons. In compiling these, he used Hungarian sources, such as hagiographical and historiographical works. This study attempts to answer the question of whether the author was familiar with the recently discovered short chronicle redacted during the reign of King Matthias (1458–1490), which has been preserved in a collection of laws compiled at the end of the 16th century, known as the Esterházy Codex. References to the author’s knowledge of the chronicle can be found in three sermons in the volume Sermones de sanctis, first published in 1497.
