Abstract

A gyimesi csángók a Csíki-havasokból induló Tatros folyó völ- gyében élnek. Három nagyobb községük Gyimesfelsőlok, Gyimesközéplok és Gyimesbükk. A gyimesi csángók ősei főként székelyek voltak, de a Gyimesekbe moldvai magyarok és románok is települtek. A helyiek megélhetését elsősorban a havasi állattenyésztés biztosította, melyet földműveléssel és fakitermeléssel egészítettek ki. A gyimesi csángók elzárt életformájuk következtében számos archaikus elemet őriztek meg a székely paraszti műveltségből és a népi kultúrából. Nyelvjárásukat eddig nem sokan kutatták, azonban nagyobb figyelmet kaptak a táncaik és a zenét szolgáltató muzsikusok. Ezért a táncokat és azok megnevezését leíró publikációk adatai hasznos források lehetnek a gyimesi csángók nyelvének tanulmányozásához. A tanulmány a gyimesi csángók táncaival foglalkozik, elsősorban a táncok megnevezésével és a nevekhez kapcsolódó további adatokkal. A kutatást az is indokolja, hogy a táncoknak adott nevek az egymás közelében élő népek közötti kapcsolatokra is utalnak. | The Csángós of Gyimes live in the valley of the Tatros River, which originates in the Csíki Mountains. Their three largest villages are Gyimesfelsőlok, Gyimesközéplok, and Gyimesbükk. The ancestors of the Gyimes Csángós were mainly Szeklers, but Moldavian Hungarians and Romanians also settled in Gyimes. The locals’ livelihood was primarily secured by alpine animal husbandry, which was supplemented by farming and logging. Due to their isolated lifestyle, the Csángós of Gyimes have preserved many archaic elements of the Szekler peasant culture and folk culture. Their dialect has not been studied much so far, but their dances and musicians have received more attention. Therefore, publications describing the dances and their names can be useful sources for studying the language of the Csángós of Gyimes. This study deals with the dances of the Csángós of Gyimes, focusing primarily with the names of the dances and additional data related to those names. The research is also supported by the fact that the names given to the dances also refer to the relationships between peoples living in close proximity to each other.
