Abstract

A serdülőkori fejlődésről szóló tematikus tanulmánygyűjtemény bemutatja, hogy az agy strukturális és funkcionális változásai miként kapcsolódnak a biológiai érés üteméhez. Kiemelkedő szerepet kap az ultrahangos csontkormérés módszere, amely lehetővé teszi az életkortól független érettségi szint meghatározását. A kutatások három érettségi csoport összehasonlításán keresztül vizsgálják a kognitív, motoros, érzelmi és idegrendszeri fejlődést, különös tekintettel a pubertás akcelerációjára és a környe zeti hatásokra. Az eredmények rávilágítanak arra, hogy a biológiai érettség pontos ismerete kulcsfon tosságú a fejlődés megértéséhez és az egészséges felnőtté válás támogatásához. | This thematic collection of studies focuses on adolescent development, highlighting how structural and functional brain changes are linked to the pace of biological maturation. A key methodological advance is the use of ultrasound bone age assessment, which allows the level of maturity to be determined independently of chronological age. The studies compare three groups of adolescents at different stages of maturity, investigating cognitive, motor, emotional, and neural development. There is a particular focus on the impact of accelerated puberty and environmental influences. The findings emphasize the importance of understanding biological maturity in supporting healthy development and transitions into adulthood.
