Abstract

A bányaipari múltú falvak esetében a gazdasági szerkezetváltás nem csupán munkaerőpiaci változást eredményezett, hanem a helyi társadalom egészének átalakulását is maga után vonta. A bányászat megszűnésével ezek a települések elveszítették a gazdaság- és társadalomszervező képességüket, amely korábban megélhetést biztosított, stabil társadalmi mobilitási pályát és erős közösségi kohéziót jelentett. A rendszerváltás utáni időszakban így egyszerre jelent meg a foglalkoztatási válság, az elöregedés, az elvándorlás és a közösségi struktúrák gyengülése. Ebbe a problémakörbe illeszkedik bele Egercsehi története is. A Faluszemináriumi Kutatóműhely 2016-ban és 2024-ben végzett átfogó kutatást a faluban. Ennek a tanulmánynak a célja röviden összegezni a különböző szempontból végzett kutatások tapasztalatait. Így egyfajta szintézise készül el mindannak, amit jelenleg tudhatunk Egercsehi főbb társadalmi, gazdasági és közösségi trendjeiről. | In former mining villages, the process of economic restructuring brought about not only changes in the labor market but also a profound transformation of the entire local society. With the decline of mining, these settlements lost their economic and social organizing capacity, which had previously provided livelihoods, stable opportunities for social mobility, and strong community cohesion. In the period following the political transition, these communities simultaneously faced employment crises, population aging, outmigration, and the weakening of local social structures. The history of Egercsehi fits well into this broader context. The Village Seminar Research Project conducted comprehensive studies in the village in 2016 and again in 2024. The aim of this paper is to provide a concise summary of the findings of these investigations from various perspectives. In doing so, it offers a synthesis of what is currently known about the major social, economic, and community trends shaping the settlement in Egercsehi.
