Abstract
The new kindergarten in Tárnok acts as a model for early-childhood visual education. Situated in a transitional zone, the building breaks from traditional street alignment with an angled entrance portal to establish a prominent community presence. Inside, a central glass-walled aula separates operational areas from learning zones while maintaining a direct visual connection to the rear playgrounds. The core layout features a rhythmic series of modular, four-colour-coded classroom blocks integrated with child-sized amenities. Defying conventional local symmetry, the exterior is defined by asymmetrical mono-pitched roofs, a homogeneous white finish that conceals mechanical equipment, and protective wooden shading devices that manage natural daylight.
