Abstract

A leginkább az éghajlatváltozás következményeként említendő szélsőségesidőjárási eseményekre való felkészülés napjaink egyik legfőbb kihívása, környezetbiztonsági jelentősége nem vitás. A természeti, táji adottságok extrém terhelése és átalakítása miatt az ökoszisztéma-szolgáltatások mennyisége csökkent, minősége romlott, az alkalmazkodási képesség nem javult. Az elemzések azt mutatják, hogy előnyösebb a megelőző jellegű intézkedés, a környezettudatosabb tervezési szemlélet. A globális környezeti jelentések és az Európai Unió (EU) ökoszisztémát előtérbe helyező stratégiái mellett a hazai ökoszisztéma környezetbiztonsági szempontú állapotát, illetve az ökoszisztéma-szolgáltatások vízügyi összefüggéseit mutatja be a szerző tanulmányában. | Preparing for extreme weather eventsto be mentioned as mainly a result of climate change is one of the main challenges today, and its significance for environmental safety is undeniable. Due to the radical load and transformation of natural areas and landscape, the declining quantity and quality of ecosystem services has resulted in lack of adaptive capacity (resilience) to extreme elements, which needsto be restored. Research, case studies of more like preventive nature-based measures and bottom-up civil initiatives shed more environmentally conscious design approach supported by the cost-benefit analyzed measures as well. In addition to the global environmental reports and the strategies of the European Union focusing on the ecosystem the study presents the state of the Hungarian ecosystem in terms of environmental safety and the water relations of the ecosystem services.
