Abstract

Az írás célja az Elektronikus Információszolgáltatás Nemzeti Program (EISZ) átmeneti megállapodásainak ismertetésén keresztül azt bemutatni, miként járultak hozzá a magyar tudomány nemzetközi láthatóságának és reprezentációjának erősítéséhez. Az EISZ 2018-ban a világ élvonalában járt, amikor a hagyományos folyóirat-előfizetéseket átmeneti szerződésekre kezdte cserélni. 2024-re már 16 ilyen megállapodás keretében összesen 17 028 open access cikk jelent meg, ami a hazai nyílt hozzáférésű publikációk éves átlagának mintegy 30%-át teszi ki, arányuk pedig évről évre nő. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy az átmeneti megállapodások átlátható és támogató környezetet teremtenek a magyar kutatók számára, elősegítve tudományos eredményeik globális hozzáférhetőségét. Bár a folyamat kihívásokkal terhelt, az EISZ tevékenysége kulcsszerepet játszik a magyar tudomány nemzetközi láthatóságának növekedésében. | This paper aims to demonstrate how the transformative agreements of the Electronic Information Service National Programme (EIS) have contributed to strengthening the international visibility and representation of Hungarian science. In 2018, the EIS was at the forefront of global development when it began replacing traditional journal subscriptions with transformative agreements. By 2024, a total of 17,028 open access articles had been published under 16 such agreements, accounting for approximately 30% of Hungary’s annual open access output, with this proportion increasing year by year. Findings indicate that these agreements provide a transparent and supportive framework for Hungarian researchers, promoting global access to their scholarly results. While the process is fraught with challenges, EIS’s activities play an essential role in increasing the international visibility of Hungarian science.
