Abstract

A Magyar Királyság kincstartói hivatala élére a király nevezte ki a kincstartót, aki egyéb elfoglaltságai okán a helyettesítésére alkincstartót állíthatott. Névsorukat meglehetõsen foghíjasan ismerjük, mivel egyrészt nem minden kincstartó nevezett ki helyettest, másrészt nem sok olyan forrásunk maradt fent, amelyben találkozhatnánk nevükkel. A tanulmányban vizsgált 1520-as évek az alkincstartók kiléte szempontjából is fontosak. A történészek egy része ugyanis régóta azt feltételezi, hogy egy Szerencsés Imre nevû személy is betöltötte e tisztséget, habár abban nincsen egyetértés, hogy mikor és melyik kincstartót helyettesítette. A kutatók által felhasznált források mellett újabbakat is bevonva a vizsgálatba, a régieket pedig megrostálva határoztam meg, illetve zártam ki azon idõszakokat, amikor lehetett, vagy nem lehetett Szerencsés Imre az alkincstartó. A rostán fennmaradt adatok alapján alkincstartósága csak egyetlen rövid idõszakban volt elképzelhetõ: az 1525 késõ nyara és kora õsze közötti pár hónapban. | The king appointed the treasurer to head the treasury office of the Kingdom of Hungary, who, due to other commitments, could appoint a deputy treasurer to replace him. We know their names rather poorly, because, on the one hand, not all treasurers appointed deputies, and on the other hand, not many sources remain in which we can find their names. The 1520s examined in this study are also important in terms of the identity of the deputy treasurers. Some historians have long assumed that a person named Imre Szerencsés (Fortunatus) also held this position, although there is no agreement on when and which treasurer he replaced. In addition to the sources used by the researchers, I included new ones in the study and sifted through the old ones to determine and rule out the periods when Imre Szerencsés could or could not have been the deputy treasurer. Based on the data that remained after sifting, his position as deputy treasurer was only conceivable for a single short period: the few months between late summer and early autumn of 1525.
