Abstract

A tanulmány a modern sorozatokban megjelenő inklúzió és reprezentáció szerepét vizsgálja a streaming szolgáltatók térnyerésének kontextusában. A kutatás elméleti háttere a média szocializációs erejére és a kisebbségi csoportok hiteles ábrázolásának fontosságára épít. A primer kutatás során alkalmazott kvantitatív módszertan (N=201) a nézői attitűdöket és az inkluzív narratívák megítélését mérte fel. Az eredmények rávilágítottak, hogy a nézők, különösen a fiatalabb generációk elvárják a diverzitást, ugyanakkor élesen kritizálják a felszínes „tokenizmust”. A konklúzió szerint a hiteles reprezentáció nemcsak társadalmi felelősségvállalás, hanem a globális médiapiacon való versenyképesség és nézői elköteleződés kulcsfontosságú gazdasági tényezője is. This study examines the role of inclusion and representation in modern series within the context of the rise of streaming platforms. The theoretical framework builds on the socialization power of media and the importance of authentic representation of marginalized groups. The quantitative methodology (N=201) employed in the primary research assessed viewer attitudes and the perception of inclusive narratives. The findings highlight that viewers, especially younger generations, expect diversity but are highly critical of superficial "tokenism." The study concludes that authentic representation is not only a matter of social responsibility but also a crucial economic factor for competitiveness and viewer engagement in the global media market.
