Abstract

A kaposvári zsidóság átfogó történelmének feldolgozása már megtörtént, továbbá a helyi zsidó közösség életét jelentősebb mértékben érintő korszakok többségét is feltárták a kutatók. A szakemberek figyelmét természetesen a német és a szovjet megszállást követő események sem kerülték el. Írásom is erre az időintervallumra helyezi a hangsúlyt, de az eddigi kutatásoktól merőben eltérő aspektusok mentén vizsgálja a történéseket. Szakmai érdeklődésem középpontjában a Kaposváron élő zsidóság német megszállást követő jog- és tulajdonfosztása, valamint későbbi kártalanítása, kárpótlása és jóvátétele áll. Jelen tanulmányban kurrens, főként a helyi levéltárban fellelhető forrásokon alapuló kutatásom egy szűkebb szegmensét ismertetem. Írásom a kaposvári izraelita tulajdonban álló ingatlanok – beleértve a lakóházakat és a vállalkozások helyszínéül szolgáló épületeket is – német megszállást követő zár alá helyezésének és kiutalásának folyamatába enged bepillantást. Sor kerül a kiutalási procedúra folyamatának, illetve az illetékes hatóságok döntési mechanizmusának bemutatására. Kiemelt figyelmet szentelek a törvény írott betűje és annak végrehajtása között meghúzódó disszonancia ismertetésére, és így a kapcsolati tőke, valamint az informális kapcsolatok a kiutalási eljárásra gyakorolt hatására. Kitérek továbbá a keresztény lakosság reakciójára. Elsősorban a zár alá helyezett izraelita ingatlanok megszerzésére irányuló törekvéseiket, illetve az elkobozott vagyon megszerzése mögött álló legfőbb mozgatórúgókat, és az általuk – a kiszemelt ingatlan megkaparintásának érdekében – felsorakoztatott érveket prezentálom. | The history of the Jews, of Kaposvár is well documented. A number of monographs have been written about their past and more ongoing research is still being conducted. Historians have already written the comprehensive history of the local Jewish community, the German occupation and the events of the following months. My study also focuses on this epoch including aspects in my investigations that were unexamined so far. My study describes the confiscation of Jewish-owned properties in Kaposvár after the German occupation, furthermore, it presents the circumstances of the distribution and the process of the apportionment. The paper is fundamentally based on archival sources stored in the local county archive. (Magyar Nemzeti Levéltár Somogy Vármegyei Levéltára). I utilized and examined the documents issued by the Capital and County Government Vice-Commissioner (alispán) and local government. Furthermore, I used the local and national press and I naturally utilised relevant monographs and studies as well. The study begins with an overview of the historical background providing the reader the necessary context. A comprehensive synopsis presents the history of Jewish-owned properties confiscated after the German occupation. My aim was to find answers to the following questions: who submitted an application to obtain the Jewish real estate; what their motivation was; how the apportionment occurred; how the distribution took place; and how the competent authorities made their decisions. The study pays special attention to the operative laws and investigates their practical execution.
