Abstract
Tanulmányomban a forradalom utáni átmeneti, politikailag bizonytalan helyzet egy sajátos pedagógiai vetületét kívánom bemutatni, amely a szocialista tudatformálás egy újabb kísérletét jelentette. A minisztériumi vezetés a szocialista erkölcsi és állampolgári ismeretek új tantárgyával kívánta megalapozni a közösségi alapelvű, kommunista/szocialista embertípus, állampolgár kialakítását, a gondolkodásmód átalakítását, végső soron a politikai hatalom és ideológia bebetonozását. Mindezt természetesen befolyásolták 1956 tapasztalatai, a „megtévesztett” fiatalokat, pedagógusokat és szülőket (lényegében az egész társadalmat) egyaránt át kellett nevelni a szocialista rendszer követelményeinek megfelelően. Ehhez társult az utópikus, Hruscsovtól eredő vízió a kommunizmusba való átmenetre, amit többféleképpen próbáltak definiálni az 50-es évek végén, a 60-as évek első felétől viszont ez a céltételezés fokozatosan kiszorult a diskurzusokból, és átvette helyét a létező szocializmus elfogadása. A végül is kudarcos tantárgyi implementációs kísérlet egy ideológiai-politikai követelmény szakmásításáról, a pedagógia nyelvére való lefordításról szólt, ahol a neveléstudomány elméleti és gyakorlati szakemberei önálló kezdeményezésekkel is próbáltak kialakítani egy új tudásterületet. = The paper explores a politically uncertain, temporary situation after the 1956 Revolution, in the dimension of education, focusing on a new experiment of socialist indoctrination. The ministry leadership tried to establish a communist/socialist type of citizenship, based on the principle of community, in order to change common thinking and ultimately ensure political power and ideology, through a new subject called Socialist moral and civic education. All of these goals were influenced by the experiences of 1956; the “disoriented” youngsters, teachers, and parents (the whole society, in essence) had to be re-educated and fitted to the requirements of the socialist system. Furthermore, the utopian vision about transitioning into communism (inspired by Khrushchev) also greatly inspired the program. They attempted to define this final goal in various ways in the late 1950s; then, in the first half of the 1960s, it was gradually eliminated from the discourse, and was replaced by the acceptance of existing socialism. The experimental implementation of the new school subject, which ultimately proved to be a failure, tells a story about translating ideological and political needs into the language of pedagogy, where professionals tried to create a new field of knowledge (both practically and theoretically) through their own initiatives.
