Abstract
A hazai felsőoktatás a rendszerváltást követően napjainkig számos átalakuláson ment keresztül, mely eltérő hatással bírt a budapesti és a vidéki egyetemek működésére. A cikk bemutatja a hazai felsőoktatás intézményrendszerének átalakulását, a jelentkezési tendenciák valamint a hazai felsőoktatási bázis alakulását és a regionalitás kérdéskörét is. | The Hungarian Higher Education system has undergone many transformations since the regime change in Hungary, wich had a different impact on the operation of universities in Budapest and in the countryside. The article presents the transformation of the institutional system of higher education in Hungary, the tendencies of application and the development of the Hungarian higher education base and the issue of regionality.
