Abstract
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the laser welding process for high-purity copper, focusing on a simulation environment based on the finite element method (FEM). The combined application of physical validation and simulated welding enables the reduction of manufacturing defects, optimization of parameters, and significant reduction of development time and costs. The paper shows the experiences and learnings of welding technology simulation of an industrial component.
