Abstract
Activation cross sections of deuteron induced reactions on mercury for production of 195g(cum), 196m,196g,197,198m,198g,199,200,201,202Tl,194,195g(cum),196m2, 196g(cum),198m,199Au and 195m,197m,203Hg were measured up to 50 MeV incident particle energy for the first time. The experimental data are compared with the predictions of the TALYS 1.6 (results TENDL-2014 on-line library) codes and with the scarce literature values. Possible practical use, based on derived thick target yields, is discussed.
