Abstract
Transbaikal Literary history is a n integral part of the Russian culture’s centuries- long history. The article deals with publicist writings and literary works of art of Transbaikal authors focused on October Revolution in Russia (1917) and the Russian Civil War (1918 - 1922). The author of the article traces the birth and development of the “Red Magyars” theme and its importance for Transbaikal regional literature.
