Abstract

Th e present paper aims to show briefl y the formation of the research project Fasti Eccle- siae Gallicanae founded by Hélène Millet in 1990, their antecedents, the concept, the structure and the constitution of the volumes to have a general idea not only about the methods, the problems occurred, but the solutions applied as well. Finally, it takes into consideration its results and impacts in the world of medievalists.
