Abstract
Author made a regular mite collectings between 1990 and 2004 on ornamental trees and shrubs, on streets, parks, green spaces of housing estates, botanical gardens and private gardens, in various localities of Hungary. During this survey a new tree-infesting Rhinophytoptus and a new Epitrimerus species were collected: Rhinophytoptus szechenyii n. sp. and Epitrimerus pilisensis n. sp. are described and illustrated from Koelreuteria paniculata and Abies sp., respectively. A member of the genus Nalepella is recorded for first time from the Hungarian fauna.
