Abstract
A new species of the genus Hoffmannia Sw. (Rubiaceae) was discovered and collected by J. Rojas within the framework of the Flora del Estado Guerrero project. Hoffmannia guerrerensis is a wine with 3-leaved whorls. Its general aspect and leaf shape is similar to that of H. riparia Standl. and its inflorescence and flowers to those of H. conzattii B. L. Robins.
