Abstract

A short taxonomic revision was made in the Rubiaceae collection of the “Dr. Jerzy Rzedowski Herbarium” (QMEX) of the Autonomous State University of Querétaro. In the carefully mounted and well-kept collection 72 species was classified, many of them still not reported from the territory of the state Querétaro. Two species of the genus Bouvardia (tribe Spermacoceae) turned to be new to science: B. hernan-maganae from Querétaro and B. sancaroli from Tamaulipas.
