Abstract
Two microphyllous Randia species have been collected and recognised in the southern semi-arid mountainous belt of the Oaxaca state. Randia pascualii is a vicarious species of R. canescens Greenm., R. brachysiphon is an extremely small flowered, hairy relative of the R. aculeata -complex.
