Abstract
The “Narrative about the Zographian Martyrs” («Разказ за зографските мъченици») is a monument of Old Bulgarian literature dating from the late 13th c. The paper examines the historical circumstances underlying the work, the literary characteristics of the “Narrative”, and its impact on later orthodox antiunionist literature.
