Abstract
The author gives numeric data on the vocabulary of the fragments, i.e. the total number of lexemes, the distribution of word categories and the distribution of lexemes in different sources. Then he analyzes loan-words attested in fragments: Grecisms, Hebraisms, Latinisms, Germanisms and Protobulgarianisms. After that he differentiates between Ohridisms and Preslavisms in the Slavic part of the vocabulary, as well as the elements of the western (Moravian) origin. Finally, he compares the vocabulary of the fragments with that in OCS dictionaries in order to determine the changes in the lexical inventory. He concludes that the vocabulary of the fragments is conservative, and that there are not many new lexemes taken from the Croatian vernacular.
