Abstract
The author examines Bergons’s dual theory of duration with regard to Slavonic verbs. The paper focuses on Bergson’s contradictions and the essential difference between static and dynamic situations as well as their discrepancy. Verb parts having contradictory meanings are semantically disintegrated and separated by this discrepancy.
