Abstract
The paper is devoted on synthesis of nonstationary seismic response of structures. On the base of artificial strong motion time histories that simulate realistic ground motions from different points of views were developed an approach for structural control for nonstationary seismic response of structures. A regenerative force actuation network which consists of multiple electromechanical forcing devices distributed throughout a structural system is employed and actuated in such a way as to reduce the response of the structure during a seismic excitation. Stochastic response and optimal effective damping are considered, where the optimal solution is received with gradient method. Experimental results, received for a model of three storey structure situated on shaking table, with tuned mass damper and regenerative force actuation network interface are shown.
