Abstract

A program célja Lie-csoportok, Lie-algebrák reprezentáció-, kohomológia- és deformációelméletének kutatása és az egyetemi oktatásban történő hasznosítása. A pályázat éveiben egy félév kivételével, mindig tartottam a doktori iskola keretében kötelezően választható előadást matematikus és fizikus hallgatóknak ill. doktoranduszoknak Lie-csoportok, Lie-algebrák témában. A futamidő alatt egy doktoranduszom volt, aki eddig három cikket adott le és jelenleg disszertációján dolgozik. Saját kutatásomban számos jelentős eredményt értem el az elmúlt 4 évben. Több kolléga látogatott ide, hogy a témákon együtt dolgozhassunk. Eredményeimet konferenciákon ismertettem és vezető szakmai folyóiratokban publikáltam (12 cikk, 2 konferenciakiadvány). 2006-ban nemzetközi konferenciát szerveztem Oberwolfachban ''Deformations and Contractions on Mathematics and Physics'' címmel, ahova fizikusokat és matematikusokat hívtunk. A konferencia célja, hogy a két többnyire elkülönült szakembertábor közös szakmai nyelvet találjon. A konferencia sikerét mutatja, hogy az előadásokból az International Journal of Mathematical Physics folyóirat egy különszáma fog megjelenni. Több helyre hívtak, ahová pénz hiányában nem tudtam elmenni. | The aim of the program was to study representations, cohomolgy and deformations of Lie groups and Lie algebras and use this research in the university curriculum. Throughout the whole granted period -except one semester- I gave lectures in the PhD program for undergraduate PhD students in mathematics and physics on the subject Lie groups, Lie algebras. In the four years period I had one PhD student, he has submitted so far three papers and at present his working on his thesis. In my own research I had several basic results in the past four years. Many collegues came to visit me to work together. I presented my results on international conferences and published them in leading journals (12 papers in journals, 2 in conference proceedings). In 2006 I organized an international workshop in Oberwolfach with title ''Deformations and Contractions on Mathematics and Physics'', were we invited mathematicians and physicists. The aim of the conference was to bring together these two groups, in order to work out a common language. The succes of the conference is justified by inviting the lectureses to present their work in a special issue of International Journal of Mathematical Physics. In the lack of money, I could not realize some other invitations.
