Abstract

A modellt a Debreceni Agrometeorológiai Obszervatórium 21 éves adatsorán verifikáltuk. A tényleges párolgás évi összegének területi eloszlását mind a talaj fizikai féleségének területi változatossága, mind a csapadék évi eloszlása határozza meg. | The climatology of evapotranspiration (ET) and soil water content (Theta) in Hungary cannot be estimated by standard micrometeorological and upscaling procedures because of the missing data and measurement tools (Ács et al., 2005). Therefore a Thornthwaite (1948) based biophysical model is adapted for estimating monthly and yearly values of ET and Theta. The scheme is tested using 21 years data set of the Agrometeorological Observatory of Debrecen. In doing these tests, we were sure that the results are sensitive not only to the parameterizations but also to the numerical schemes. After model developements, the statistical relationships between ET, Theta and the environmental variables are investigated. According to the simulation results Theta is close to the field capacity in March and to the wilting point in September. The areal distribution of the yearly Theta values is determined by the areal distribution of soil texture. The areal distribution of the yearly ET values is determined by the areal distribution of both the soil texture and the precipitation. It is also obvious that water regime of sandy areas is very sensitive to environmental changes.
