Abstract

A kutatási projekt során egyrészt az írott források, elsősorban a középkori telekkönyvek és adójegyzékek elemzése és adatbázisban való feldolgozása révén, másrészt a fennmaradt történeti térképek, a régészeti ásatások illetve műemlékvédelmi feltárások eredményeinek segítségével rekonstruáltam a 15. századi Pozsony belvárosi telkek szerkezetét és azok tulajdonosait. A térrekonstrukció másik elemét az egyéb térelemekre (középületekre, kapukra, kutakra, malmokra, hidakra, tornyokra) vonatkozó források összegyűjtése képezte. A kutatás második fázisában a különböző társadalmi csoportok (foglalkozások, városvezető elit) térbeliségének vizsgálatát végeztem el, ami a források részletes vizsgálata nyomán egy adott csoportba sorolt polgárok által lakott illetve birtokolt ingatlanok azonosítását, és így az általuk dominált városi tér körülhatárolását és a rekonstruált térképen történő ábrázolását jelentette. Résztanulmányokban ezek közül néhány társadalmi csoportot részletesebben vizsgáltam. Az elitkutatás vonatkozásában egyes életutak elemzése során igyekeztem rávilágítani, hogy ezeknek a társadalmi csoportok által dominált városi tereknek az ismerete egyes esetekben hogyan segíthet annak megállapításában, hogy az adott foglalkozáscsoportból a városi felsővezetésbe jutott polgárok ""térbe leírt útja"" mennyire tekinthető tipikusnak. A társadalmi topográfiai térképek négy időmetszetben való elkészítésével pedig megpróbáltam a térhasználatban végbemenő változásokat is nyomon követni. | In the first phase of the project – with the analysis of the written sources, mainly the surviving medieval land and tax registers, and with the help of the extant historical maps, the results of archaeological excavations and monument-conservational surveys – the inner town plot-structure was reconstucted and their ownerships were identified for 15th-century Pressburg. While reconstructing the physical outlook of the town, the collection of sources on other topographical elements (public buildings, gates, wells, mills, bridges, towers) was also done. As a result, a reconstructed topographical map of late medieval Pressburg was prepared. In the second phase the socio-topographical investigation of the different social groups (occupations) was fulfilled. Namely, through a thorough source-analysis the members of these groups were identified together with their house ownerships, and thus the social realms were defined and rejected onto the reconstructed map. In case studies detailed analysis was done for some of these urban groups. With regard to elite research it was attempted through the investigation of a few individual career to highlight that the knowledge gained about social topography can help us to establish how typical was the spatial mobility of those burghers who managed to enter the circle of town leadership. In addition, all social topographical maps were prepared in four temporal cross-sections in order to demonstrate the changes in the usage of social space.
