Abstract

A kutatás 2009-ben megfogalmazott célkitűzése – rövidítve – az alábbi volt: Giambattista Vico életművének elemzése a XVIII századi olasz irodalom és filozófia kontextusában, különös tekintettel az életmű tudomány- nyelv- és történelemfilozófiai vetületeire. Kutatási módszerem alapvetően az utóbbi évtizedek kontextualista Vico-kutatásának trendjét követte. A 2009-es munkatervben kitűzött célokat megítélésem szerint sikerült valósítanom. Kutatásaim időszakában többféle módon került középpontba Vico nagy jelentőségű Dante-értelmezése. A Magyar Dantisztikai Társaság tevékenysége keretei közt megvalósított Dante-kutatásaim folyamán a 2009-2012 közti (tehát jelen kutatási) időszakban több, Vico életművéhez kapcsolódó ill. attól független Dante-tanulmányt írtam ill. közöltem. A tervezett monográfia terve ennek megfelelően annyiban módosult, hogy a mű témája Dante és Vico életművének – részben komparatív – elemzése, valamint a XVIII századi Dante-recepció vizsgálata lesz. E monográfia témája ill. a téma megközelítése a magyarországi Dante- ill. Vico-kutatásban így is hiánypótló funkcióval bír. | The aim of the research, formulated in 2009, was – briefly – the following: a detailed analysis of the work of Giambattista Vico in the context of 18th century’s Italian literature and philosophy, with a particular emphasis on the aspects of Vico’s work related to contemporary theory of science, of language and of history. My research-method basically followed the contextualist approach, predominant in Vico-researches in the last approximatively four decades. In my judgement I was able to accomplish the aim of my research-plan formulated in 2009. In the period of my researches Vico’s interpretation on Dante became a crucial subject from different point of views. During the period between 2009 and 2012 (i.e. in the period of my investigations on Vico), I have written and/or published – in collaboration with the Hungarian Dante Society – a number of works on Dante, related to (or independent from) Vico’s work. In base of this fact the subject of my planned monograph has been modified in the sense that the final subject will be the – partly comparative – analysis of Dante’s and Vico’s work, moreover the study of 18th century’s reception of Dante’s thought. Even with such a modification, the subject and the approach to the subject of the planned monograph will be a useful novelty in the researches on Dante and on Vico, developed in Hungary.
