Abstract

A zenés színház a szellemi rekreáció szórakoztatási funkciót betöltő egyik alterülete. Már a 19. századi Magyarországon is megjelent a műfaj. Jelentős reprezentánsai voltak például a fővárosban az orfeumok (mint a Budapest Operetszínház elődje, a Somossy Orfeum 1894-től). Ezek mellet már 1840-től a Nemzet Színház (1837- 1840 közöt Pest Magyar Színház), 1875- től a Népszínház, illetve 1884-től a Magyar Állami Operaház is kínált ilyen előadásokat. Az építészetleg is remekül kialakítot épületek jelentős része a híres bécsi építészpáros, Fellner és Helmer nevéhez fűződik, ám Ybl Miklós operaház-kialakítása is kimagasló. Épületséták során is megismerhetjük ezeket. A 20-21. századra szélesebb körben megjelent a zenés műfaj a prózai színházak repertoárjában, vidéken is, valamint a szabadtéri létesítményekben. Jelen tanulmány a három, zenével gazdagon átszőt színházi műfaj sajátosságai mellet törekszik a szellemi/intellektuális/ mentális rekreációs hatásokat is bemutatni, hiszen ezen művek megtekintése is élményt, fow-közeli állapotot hozhat létre. = Musical theater is one of the subfelds of mental or intellectual recreaton that fulflls an entertainment functon. The genre appeared already in the 19th-century Hungary. Its signifcant representatives were, for example, the orpheums in the capital, Budapest (as the predecessor of the Budapest Opereta Theater, the so-called Somossy Orpheum since 1894). In additon to these, the Natonal Theater (the former Hungarian Theater of Pest between 1837-1840), the People’s Theater (since 1875), and the Hungarian State Opera (since 1884) ofered such performances. A signifcant part of the architecturally excellent buildings is atributed to the famous Viennese architects, Fellner and Helmer, but Miklós Ybl’s Opera House design is also outstanding. You can get to know them also during theatre-building walks. By the 20th and 21st century, the musical genre appeared more widely also in the repertoire of prose theaters, also in the countryside, as well as in open-air facilites. In additon to the characteristcs of the three theater genres richly interwoven with music, this study also aims to present the spiritual/intellectual/mental recreatonal efects, since atending these kinds of productons can also create experience and a state close-to-fow.
