Abstract

A 17-20. század egyetemes és magyar fizikájának vannak még kevéssé kutatott fejezetei. Célunk az volt, hogy ezek közül néhányat megvizsgáljunk, s az egyetemes fizikatörténetre vonatkozó adatsorokat beépítsük a fizika magyarországi történetére vonatkozó kutatási eredményekbe. Célunk volt az is, hogy magyar fizikusok nemzetközi jelentőségű eredményeit vizsgáljuk, s azokat az egyetemes fizika történetének adatsoraival vessük össze. Kutattuk Segner János András, Kempelen Farkas, Zemplén Győző, Eötvös Loránd, Lánczos Kornél, Bay Zoltán, Szilárd Leó életművének kevéssé ismert mozzanatait, s igyekeztünk azokat beépíteni a fizika egyetemes történetébe. Kutatási eredményeinkből két kötetnyi anyagot állítottunk össze, hogy azokat az érdeklődők a későbbiekben is tudják tanulmányozni. Az általunk kapott eredmények jól használhatók a fizika oktatásában, fizikatörténeti háttérként, továbbá alapot adnak a művelődéstörténeti és tudománytörténeti doktori iskolák számára egy-egy témakör továbbgondolásához, más részleteinek feltárásához. | There are less studied chapters of the general and of Hungarian physics as well. Our aim was to analyse some of these chapters and to build in databases of general history of physics into the research results of the history of physics in Hungary. We attempted to collect results of Hungarian physicists of international importance, and at the same time to compare them with evidences of the history of physics in general. We studied the less known details of biographies of János András Segner, Farkas Kempelen, Győző Zemplén, Loránd Eötvös, Kornél Lánczos, Zoltán Bay, Leó Szilárd, and attempted to fit our results into the international history of phyiscs. Our results were published in two volumes affording a reference book for further researches on the subject. Our results could be applied in teaching of physics giving a historical background for the topic. On the other hand however they could be used as references and sources of further researches in PhD-courses and in Doctor's schools as well.
