Abstract

A magyarországi hódoltság korának egyik legfontosabb török forrása a szultáni tanácsban megtárgyalt parancsok lényegi részeit tartalmazó mühimme defterik. Ezek számunkra fontos bejegyzéseit sorozat formájában tervezem megjelentetni. Az első kötetet követte a jelen pályázatban kiadott, az előző négy évben feldolgozott, az isztambuli Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşiviben őrzött két legkorábbi, 1559-1560, illetve 1564-1565-ből származó defter minket érdeklő anyaga. Most az időrendben következő, 1565-1566-ból, illetve 1567-1568-ból való két kéziratot vizsgáltuk át. Az első 703, a második 1016 oldalból áll, s együtt 4700-nál több rendele?tet foglalnak magukba. Ezek közül közel 600-ról derült ki, hogy magyar vonatkozású információkat hordoz. A parancsokról készített regeszták sok tekintetben gazdagítják és árnyalják a korszakról való eddigi ismereteinket, különös tekintettel az 1566. évi hadjárat előkészületeire, majd a nagy hódítások lezárulásával következő békésebb időszakra. | One of the most important sources of the Ottoman rule in Hungary are the mühimme defteris which contain the essential parts of orders discussed in the Sultan's Council. A series is planned to publish the documents in the volumes which deal with Hungarian issues. After the first book, we could now publish the material of the two earliest defters, preserved in the Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi, Istanbul, covering the periods 1559-1560 and 1567-1568. At the same time, the next two manuscripts from 1565-1566 and 1567-1568, respectively, were carefully investigated. The first consists of 703, the second of 1016 pages, with a total of entries exceeding 4700. Almost 600 of the firmans proved to have Hungarian relevance. The excerpts prepared enrich our knowledge mainly in respect of the preparations of the 1566 campaign and the more peaceful period following the great conquests.
