Abstract

Ezen túlmenően 3 esetben a doktori cselekmény elindítására már sor került, ami a megfelelő előrehaladást jelenti; végül 11 esetben, nagy valószínűséggel, 1-2 éven belül várható PhD fokozat megvédése. A mellékelt felsorolás (4.pont) 20 volt doktorandusz esetében mutatja pályázatunk eredményességét. (Az eredeti pályázatban 10-12 doktorandusz kutatási programjának közvetlen támogatására vállalkoztunk.) A 20 doktorandusz (és témavezetőik) 141 publikációt készítettek. | It is intended to integrate and harmonize research work in the framework of PhD training at 3 university departments as follows: - BUTE Department of Polymer Technology: The state-of-the-art research measurement and equipment system primarily served for exploring the behavior and mechanical properties of polymers. The knowledge accumulated at the Department provided a well-established background for selecting and applying polymer materials and structural elements. - Szent István University, Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Maintenance of Machinery: The Department primarily provided the conditions for determining the friction and wear behavior of sliding contact by its tribology test equipment. - BUTE Department of Machine and Product Design (formerly: Institute of Machine Design): The Department catered for an integrated approach by means of numerical modelling, as well as by the application of rough surface application methods and wear simulation. The results of cooperation are hallmarked by 5 PhD degrees and 1 Dr-Ing degree (naturalization in progress). In addition, doctoral process have been initiated in 3 cases, representing proper progress; finally, in 11 cases PhD degrees are expected to be vindicated most probably within 1-2 years. The list enclosed (section 4) shows the success of our proposal in the case of 20 former PhD students. (The original proposal undertook to directly support the research programme of 10-12 PhD students.) The 20 PhD students (and their consultants) produced 141 publications.
