Abstract

A kutatási program a középkori kódexek és kódextöredékek feltárásával, katalogizálásával és tanulmányokban való feldolgozásával jelentősen hozzájárult a középkori magyarországi könyvkultúra rekonstruálásához, és számos európai jelentőségű kéziratot hozzáférhetővé tett a külföldi kutatás számára is. Nagy előrehaladás történt az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár kódextöredékeinek feldolgozásában. Az OSZK illuminált kódexeinek rendszeres számbavétele mellett megtörtént több jelentős kódex művészettörténeti szempontú feldolgozása. Elkészült és a közeljövőben megjelenik az esztergomi egyházi gyűjtemények kódex-katalógusa. Megállapodás született az Osztrák Akadémia „manuscripta.at” középkori kézirat-adatbázisának kiterjesztéséről a magyarországi anyagra is Mittelalterliche Handschriften in mitteleuropäischen Bibliotheken und Sammlungen néven, és folyamatban van a hazai kódex-állomány adatbázisba vitele. Megjelent a középkori magyarországi egyházi költészet repertóriuma és két fontos pálos forrás latin nyelvű kritikai kiadása és német, illetve magyar fordítása. | The research project has, through the describing, cataloguing and scholarly publishing of mediaval codices and codex fragments significantly contributed to the reconstruction of mediaeval Hungarian book culture, at the same time making a large number of manuscripts of European importance accessible for foreign research. A major step forward can be acknowledgd in the describing of codex fragments in the holdings of the National Széchényi Library (Országos Széchényi Könyvtár). Besides the systematic survey of the illuminated codices of the National Széchényi Library the treatment of several significant codices from an art historical view was also realized. Similarly, the codex-catalogue of church collections of Esztergom is finished and will be shortly published. An agreement was made with the Austrian Academy to extend the mediaeval manuscript database „manuscripta.at” to the Hungarian material with the name Mittelalterliche Handschriften in mitteleuropäischen Bibliotheken und Sammlungen; the loading of Hungarian codex-holdings to database is continuously carried on. The repertory of mediaeval liturgical poetry in Hungary was published as well as the critical edition (with German resp. Hungarian translations) of two important Pauline sources.
