Abstract
A multifunctional complex of church, social/student housing and offices dominatesa central urban site. This project realises the desire of the Finnish church to bring the community together through worship, concerts, hobbies, and social activities:best achieved as a unified project under one roof. The use of bold architecturalforms executed in traditional brickwork, to denote the transition from public, through semi-public, to private spaces without losing connection to the spiritual and physical desire to be accessible to all.
