Abstract
Faunistic data of Lepidoptera collected between 2003 and 2007 are given. The majority of the distribution data come from Zselic Hills and Mecsek Mountains. Several rare (or migratory) and endangered species (eg. Acherontia atropos, Iolana iolas, Neptis rivularis, Lopinga achine, Rileyana fovea, Mormo maura) are listed and completed with zoogeographical and ecological comments. 22 species (eg. Proserpinus proserpina, Zerynthia polyxena, Parnassius mnemosyne, Lycaena dispar rutilus, Maculinea alcon, Maculinea nausithous, Euphydryas maturna) are protected by Hungarian laws with national or even international nature conservational importance.
