Abstract
EDGE SUEDKREUZ, BERLIN, GERMANY – ARCHITECTS: SERGEI TCHOBAN and STEPHAN LOHRE An ensemble of two seven-storey office buildings in new Schöneberger Linse district of Berlin occupying a single urban block where the design purpose is to provide users with various environments that have a mix of open and informal meeting areas complementing more conventional office spaces. Constructed using a hybrid use of sustainable timber construction technologies. The larger building of the two encompasses a large atrium where columns symbolic of trees carry circulation routes.
